Welcome to Tfila Finder — a free, community-driven app for finding minyanim (prayer services), synagogues, Torah classes, and mikvahs by location. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The Service

Tfila Finder provides a shared community database of synagogues, prayer times, Torah classes, and mikvahs, contributed and maintained by its users. The service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

User Accounts

• Some features (such as adding or editing content) require signing in with a Google or Apple account.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

User-Generated Content

• Content you add — synagogues, minyanim, prayer times, photos, and reports — becomes part of the shared community database and is visible to all users.
• By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute it within the service.
• You must only submit content that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share. Do not submit offensive, misleading, or unlawful content.
• We may edit or remove content at our discretion, including content reported by the community.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access the service by automated means — including bots, crawlers, scripts, or any other automated tools.
• Scrape, mine, bulk-copy, extract, or duplicate the database, in whole or in part, by any means.
• Use the service's API outside the official app — including direct calls to our servers or access from third-party software.
• Use the data commercially or distribute it outside the app without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
• Impersonate others or submit deliberately false information.

Violation of these terms may result in blocking access to the service and legal action.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, logos, and software are the property of Tfila Finder and are protected by law. The community database as a whole is owned by Tfila Finder; individual contributors retain rights to their own submissions subject to the license above.

Accuracy Disclaimer

The information in the app is contributed by the community and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Prayer times, locations, and other details are provided as is, without any warranty. Always verify times and details before relying on them — for example, before traveling to a minyan.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tfila Finder and its operators shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the app or reliance on its content, including missed prayers, travel costs, or data inaccuracies. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Privacy

Use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect and how we use it.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. The current version of the terms will always be published on this page with the date of the latest update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.
